Step back in time to the Golden Years of 1970s Hong Kong at Mongkok Tea House, an homage to Hong Kong located on Burke Road in Camberwell.
Inspired by the concept of Cha Chaan Teng, or Hong Kong style cafes, Mongkok Tea House blends traditional Chinese and Western cuisines, reimagined into a more refined and modern dining experience.
As night falls, neon lights glow over the retro diner-style room, setting the scene for a unique culinary journey.
Dine under the glow while enjoying a smoke-encased cocktail unveiled before you.
We are currently looking for part-time or casual cooks.
Preference will be given to those with experience using a wok and possessing excellent knife skills.

- Preparing ingredients in accordance with specific recipes and menus
- Cooking and serving food according to set menus
- Maintaining consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times, including washing pots and pans
- Ensuring a safe working environment within the kitchen and back of house areas
- Storing all prepared items neatly and with proper date labelling
- Adhering to the company’s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Workplace Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance programs and guidelines
